Find the person whose work made your week smoother and tell them. Not a group email. Not a company-wide shoutout. A specific sentence, to a specific person, about a specific thing they did.
It costs nothing. It takes ten seconds. And it does something a paycheck can’t: it tells someone their invisible work was seen.
The system only works because people show up and do their part. The least we can do is show up and say so.
