The interesting thing about change is that we are often aware of the changes others need to make, but rarely do we recognize the changes we need to make ourselves.

Even when we are informed or see the change we should make, so often we don’t. Yet, we expect others to make the changes that we point out to them.

People change when they want to change.

You can inspire, but unless someone recognizes and accepts the need to change, they will not change; do not expect change. Think of any relationship you have had, you as a child when an adult wanted you to change, or possibly your children. And these are people connected with you. Why do we expect that those who work with you will change based on your wishes?

Yet there is change we can affect and control. Change yourself first. Probably what we need to do is change the way we look at others, and in turn, the frustration you feel may dissipate.
